Nittei Musen Co., Ltd. established at 546-7, Oaza Onishi, Onishi-machi, with a capital of 4 million yen; starts manufacture and sale of radio and communication instrument parts.

June
1959
Establishes Kodama Factory.

September
1961
Receives a license to manufacture electric parts for small indoor switches from the Minister for International Trade and Industry under the Regulations for the Control of Electric Appliances.

December
1962
Registered as an electric appliances factory under Article 3 of the Law for the Control of Electric Appliances.

October
1967
Starts assembly of intercoms and stereo amplifiers at Kodama Factory.

June
1973
Certified as an excellent corporation for income tax declaration.

May
1975
Joins Japan Wiring Devices Association.

March
1977
Transfers and expands head office and factory to the present address, and annexes Kodama Factory.

1978

Certified as an excellent corporation for income tax declaration.
Receives type certification for Type A electric appliances under the amended Law for the Control of Electric Appliances (tumbler switches, push-button switches).

Receives type certification for Type A electric appliances for tumbler switches as a result of the development of several types of toggle switch.

Succeeds in developing mini-mini toggle switches, and starts sales of the switches at home and abroad.

Develops small seesaw switches, and starts sales of the switches at home and abroad.
