Globalization, represented by economies becoming borderless and the widespread use of the Internet, is causing keen international competition, but has also ushered in an age when local businesses with technical capabilities can develop products for the world market. This is an era that favors us in attaining further growth together with our local community. Thus, with cooperation from Gunma Prefecture and New Technology Development Foundation, we have expanded our R&D facilities, including clean rooms and vacuum manufacturing units, and have focused our energies on employing and educating creative engineers. In 2004, we succeeded in developing the nano-catchsensor, the smallest in the world, in the field of tilt and vibration sensors. The nano-catchsensor has great potential in such areas as automatic conversion and keyless inputs on liquid crystal screen of digital cameras and cellular phones. We will work to commercialize the sensor, and will also try to develop worldwide products in other fields as well. |
